Ryan Fochler
FOUNDER
When Ryan Fochler took his first job out of college as an IT developer, it became clear that he was not an enthusiast of solving code problems. He decided to pick up a temporary side job as a dog sitter and unlike his dull IT job, time went fast. He loved observing, learning and playing with dogs. He couldn’t get enough of it. So when the opportunity to purchase the in-home pet sitting business he was working for came about in 2004, Ryan happily made a career change and devoted himself to growing the business he loved. He applied his IT training and skills to set up systems to expedite work flow and rapidly expanded his business in Northern Virginia.
Beyond the walls of his own brick and mortar company Bark + Boarding, he is committed to bring the pet business community together with PetSync. Combining his IT training with his extensive background in operating and running a pet business, Ryan is dedicated to empower everyone with the best technology to enable profit sharing and knowledge sharing easy.

With over 20 years experience in technical strategy, architecture, design, development and systems administration, Steven brings innovative technical leadership with expertise in C/C++, OpenGL, Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, Ruby and Python languages. From building strategy war game's non-graphical engine and artificial intelligence to implementing satellite visualization, Steven brings his extensive technical background to ensure PetSync is operating and built for optimal performance.
